Josh Robinson is the owner of Triple C and has lived in Marshall, IL his entire life. After college graduation, Josh pursued Teaching and was a high school Industrial Arts teacher for 6.5 years. Josh left teaching to pursue a career in law enforcement and joined the Illinois State Police(ISP) 15 years ago and still serves the State of Illinois as a public information officer with the ISP. Josh is also a 21 year member of the Marshall Fire Department. He serves as the volunteer Security Director at the Marshall Baptist Church and also serves on the building comittee. He volunteers his time helping local churches set up safety teams, security camera systems and helps them write policy for their safety programs. For the past 25 years, Josh has worked construction in his spare time, starting while in High School and working his way through college. He started his own construction business after college and has been always been blessed, staying busy even without any advertising. A few years ago he began installing security cameras for his church. After that, people began asking for his help installing cameras for their home or business. The demand for security camera's has grown so much he decided to keep doing them, which is why we are where we are today. It was around September 2020 when Josh decided to start a new business that incorporated the ever growing Security Camera side of his business with the construction business he had ran for years.
In October 2020, Triple C was formed. The name Triple C was chosen by his loving and very supportive wife Jessica. Triple C stands for Cameras, Cable and Construction, which truly encompasses the bulk of what we do. Jessica also helped choose the scripture which is part of the company logo, Colossians 3:23, which reads "whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters". Faith is the center of the Robinson family and they would not have a business with out all the blessings that God has provided. Josh's wife Jessica is an elementary teacher and they have 3 children - Gabe, Sophie and Levi. The children help with camera installs when they can and love helping out. Josh is hoping Triple C continues to grow so that he can add staff, have a job to pass the time when he retires from Law Enforcement in a few years and that his children continue interest in the business as well.
This truly is a family business, as the tech support comes largely from Josh's father, Paul Robinson. Paul is a retired teacher and Technology Coordinator from the Marshall School Corporation. He operates Abacus Consulting in his retirement and helps Josh with the technology side of camera system installs. Pauls experience stems back to the early 90's when he began learning all about the modern day Internet. Paul set up the first Internet provider to the town of Marshall, IL through the school system, converting old janitor or storage closets into rooms with shower caddys holding dial up modems. Paul ran cabling throughout all of the school buildings to provide Internet access to each classroom before the days of wireless connections or WiFi. Paul has spent countless hours working on computers, building computers, setting up web pages, troubleshooting technology issues and providing tech support to numerous busnesses and school districts. It is a blessing to have someone with his knowledge to keep things running smooth.
From our family to yours, we appreciate your business and may God bless you!
